Looks like Minnesota Democrats Exposed has either been hacked (again), or they’re getting into the male enhancement pharmaceutical business. Here is a screenshot of the beginning of 803 lines of code that currently resides at the bottom of every page of that website:
Searching Google for pages of MDE that mention one popular blue pill shows that Google is picking up the hacked pages . . . for now.
It will be interesting to see if MDE gets dropped from Google . . . again.
You may be saying to yourself “I don’t see any mentions of male enhancement on MDE.” which is true. So, what’s happening here? The hacker has shifted the links off your screen. They’re there, only they’re 5768px to the right, so if you look around 4 screen widths right, that’s about where they’re located. So while they’re not visible to visitors, search engines like Google see them. Search engines don’t like this sort of thing.
Perhaps Luke Hellier should spend a little less time deleting apologies to United States Senators and a little more time securing his website?
Update (2:28am 4/7/2010): It looks like Luke is paying attention in this case. Some, but not all, of the code has been cleaned up on MDE.
