1300 Summit Av: Officers responded to Robbery of Dwelling call; 3 suspects entered through unlocked window while victim was playing piano; suspects tied up victim in basement, took several guns, including an 28-gauge shotgun; Crime Lab processed scene; precinct investigators working with Violent Offenders Task Force

2400 Hennepin Av E: Officers responded to a Burglary of Business call; suspects entered through small window of adjacent closed business, used shared basement to access business; broke into safe; loss includes valuable coin collection, loaded 12-gauge shotgun; Crime Lab processed scene

One less machine gun:

Arrested: Fugitive in south Mpls wanted on federal weapons charges; during arrest officers recovered machine gun next to bed where fugitive was located, charged with additional weapons charge

11th St S/37th Av E: Officers on routine patrol observed car without front plate parked; car pulled away from curb before officers had a chance to get out of squad; while following car, discovered car matched description for probable cause pick up for Burglary; officers stopped car; driver did not have valid driver’s license or insurance; passenger had a number of tools commonly used for burglary; recovered cameras, coins, other potentially stolen items: 2 Arrested/BURGLARY
