I Like My Moo Cards

Moo Cards, originally uploaded by edkohler.

I’m really liking my Moo cards. They’re basically my personal cards with my personal email address an personal blog on them. I ordered 100 of them – each with a different photo – from Moo.com through Flickr.

Moo can grab photos you have hosted on sites including Flickr for use on your cards. In the case of Flickr, you can choose a set or tag from your photos to help narrow things down.

Once you’ve pulled in photos, you can drop ones that you don’t like and zoom/center the rest to touch up the look a bit. They’re about 2/3 the height of a normal business card so it can take some work figuring out which photos fit best. Of course, you don’t HAVE to get 100 unique cards, which would cut down on the work spent aligning images.

That’s Ben from BenCredible.com in the Moo card on top of the box.

  1. Serious man, that photo is an awesome Flickr advertisement, you should offer it to them and see if they pick it up! What you got to lose?

  2. I am getting my Moo.com on in that shot, eh? This is long-tail stuff. I’m sure someone reading about this will become a Moo user and they’ll tell a few more friends, and so on, and so on.
