Carly and I joined Quinn and his peeps on the St. Croix River for a canoe trip from Taylor’s Falls to Osceola. Good times on the river, although I forgot to put sun lotion on the top of my feet.
I spent part of the day on July 4th hanging out in Stillwater with a few peeps 3 decades younger than myself who really know how to party.
Also, I’m trying out a new video service called Viddler. You can add tags to the video, such as people’s names or comments. Give it a try and let me know how it works from your perspective.
This just in: Corn is HIGHER than knee high by the Fourth of July. I repeat. Corn is HIGHER than knee high by the Fourth of July.
Thanks to Carly for her help documenting this important farming fact.
It’s worth nothing that I am, indeed, standing in a corn field near Square Lake in Stillwater on none other than the Fourth of July, 2007.
