Running From Camera in Turkey
I’m a big fan of the Running from Camera blog, where people set their digital camera’s timers to 2-second countdowns, then run as far as they can from the camera before the picture is taken. This was my first attempt in a valley 5km upstream from the mountain town of Ayder, Turkey in Kaçkar Mountains National Park.

Oh goody, a new thing for me to try with my digital camera. Haveing made several attempts at the 365 thing on Flickr.. Make me wonder if the film era wasn’t better in some ways.. for one thing we were a bit more discriminating on what we shot since it we paid for each image.
BTW, I’ll probably have to pass on this one. Unless the camera is aimed at the ground people will assume that ran over the horizon rather than collapsed and fell to the ground grabbing my chest after 3 steps.

Wouldn’t it be cool to take 3-4 pictures at different intervals and then digitally merge them?

The shots could be captured with many Canon cameras. They have custom timer settings that allow you to take multiple shots after a custom time delay. Unfortunately, I just killed my Canon ,and my emergency Sony replacement isn’t smart enough.
