Ang found this shot on Flickr in Scoobyfoo’s account. I like it. Well balanced. It may be easier to create a balanced look by avoiding a sharp point. Well played.

You know, I’ve been meaning to get some insight from those of you that care about which way the TP is placed on the holder. Why is it: under bad, over good?
I don’t have a TP holder, just a little cut out cubby thing in the wall that the rolls sits in, so it doesn’t matter to me at all, I’m just curious.

And, as I see it, over is good because you can rip off what you need without ending up with a spool of TP on the floor. And you don’t have to fish around for the end of the roll since it’s nicely presented (sometimes even folded).
Ever seen someone fold a roll that it put on backwards? Impossible.
Your bathroom sounds uncivilized.

My bathroom is adorable, thankyouverymuch.
Do you fold your TP at home?
The bathroom here at work typically has two full rolls side by side, and one is almost always under while the other is over. They are equally easy to use without unraveling any onto the floor, and I never find that I have problems finding the end of the roll.
Sounds like YOU’RE the uncivilized one.

Ed, didn’t you post a detailed, scientific explanation on the over-TP mount? Was that on The Deets or After Dark?
