Phonebook Roadkill: Oh My!

By Ed Kohler | Nov 2, 2008

Anne and Kirk were driving through Eagan, MN earlier today when they encountered phonebook roadkill:

Phonebook Roadkill

I do not endorse tossing phone books onto the side of roads. Let’s work together to keep America beautiful. Of course, I don’t have a problem with throwing unwanted phone books at the companies who delivered the print spam in the first place. That’s totally justified.

Soooo… I just have to get this off my chest. I followed the instructions to disallow idiots to put 1/2 a tree on my doorstep. About… a month ago, I went outside after hearing a thump, and saw another phonebook sitting on my top step. I was SO mad that I threw it and the bag it came to right into the street. I didnt care if I was making my street look trashy because I was pissed. Then it rained, and looked even trashier. 20 hours later a street cleaner came by and swept up my phonebook. I know I’m a bad person for littering, but I was just so mad.

It probably doesn’t help that I used to work for a phonebook advertising company.

Please don’t judge me for littering.
