$100 Million Idea: 3-Minute Meals
Rachael Ray made more than $10 million last year pimping a concept called 30 minute meals. Isn’t that unbelievable?
Want to try to top her? Here’s how.
If you can cut the meal prep time to 1/10th of Rachael’s time, you should be worth 10X more, right? So I’m basically giving you a $100 million idea here:
3-Minute Meals
To get things started, here are a few of my favorite 3-Minute meals. I happen to be eating one of them now.
1. Microwave Nachos
2. Cheese & Crackers
3. Edamame
4. Coffee (definitely a meal)
5. Ramen
Those could be the first five pilot episodes. What would you add to the list?

1) PBJ
2) bowl of oatmeal or cereal (you can even add fruit and nuts to round it out)
3) yogurt (you can even take time to add nuts or granola or whatever topping).

What about the classic Jacks/frozen pizza du jour…sure, it sits in the oven for 10 minutes, but the prep time is less than 3 minutes….

Can we count ordering a pizza because that’s only three minutes work (two minutes hold, one minute phone time)?
Smoothies and Milkshakes should be on the list.

Does a fist full of generic Oreos and a glass of Tang count as a meal? If so, there’s my contribution.

Does a gin and tonic count? It has fruit (lime).

Ice cream, eaten straight from the carton (easy cleanup).
Girl Scout cookies.
