You’ve probably driven by it thousands of times, but have you ever been inside Riverside Plaza?

The crew from 612 Authentic in partnership with MinnPost got a chance to check it out with resident, Abdi Hassan.

  1. [...] MinnPost – A fresh start to a difficult life at Riverside Plaza: The 612 Authentic group and resident Abdi Hassan gives a tour of his new life at Riverside Plaza. We all know the nicknames for those buildings, but I was very surprised at how things looked. While everything looks very dated, it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Abdi gives some good points for why he likes it there and they make sense. Now I just have to work on stop using those nicknames for these buildings. (via) [...]

I used to live there. Top floor, facing Cedar. I slept against the window, which freaked out most of the people I knew. i was there for the shooting downstairs where they covered up the blood puddle with a throw rug, although I missed the big prostitute ring by a few years.

We really liked it there. Close to lots of great restaurants (and school), and A/C and cable and close circuit t.v. (and sprinklers) were all part of the rent.
