Here’s another alternative use for a phone book. In needed something to support my bike pump while topping off a tire that popped the previous day. It takes a lot of work to get a tire to 100 psi with a travel pump. The phone book played a key role in making this happen.

I have another thought, if you have no use for teh phone books just stop thier delivery. I have a membership with MyJunkTree and clicked on a few buttons and they got me off the list. No more books to recycle, yeah.
