    I grew up exactly one block over, the neighborhood is wonderful. This is the type of area where you know your neighbors, and the kids leave their toys out on the lawn, knowing that it’s very unlikely their stuff will be stolen. Crime is low, if not non-existent. Plane noises aren’t a big deal, as you stop noticing them after a while. Practically everything you need is within a 10-mile radius.
