[ # ] Jawed Karim’s Latest Venture - VC

St Paul Central graduate, YouTube co-founder, former PayPal employee, and UIUC grad, Jawed Karim, has a new venture these days according to Alexander Haislip at Private Equity Hub. Karim is the co-founder of a new venture capital firm called Youniversity Ventures.

It sounds like they’re going to focus their investments on companies founded by UIUC and Stanford students and graduates.

Jawed hasn’t turned 30 yet, but his net worth is North of $50 million.

That’s a pretty impressive career so far, and I’m sure we’ll continue to hear great things from Jawed in the future.
