6th/Hennepin: At 9:20 pm officer was flagged down by man reporting he saw suspect from previous day who had swindled $300 cash from restaurant; suspect was in vehicle in front of officer; vehicle was stopped at red light on 5th/Hennepin; suspect fled on foot from passenger side of vehicle; officer gave chase, but upon arriving at alley entrance on 5th, observed suspect being held by several passersby, including off-duty Philadelphia police officer and restaurant’s manager: Arrested/

Palm Pilots AND Crossbows? That’s a recipe for a perfect crime:

2200 blk 5th St NE: Officers dispatched to call of Terroristic Threats; suspect was angry at victim because victim had not returned his palm pilot; suspect fired 2 arrows from cross bow into victim’s apartment door; officers apprehended suspect, recovered cross bow, several 9-10” arrows; numerous items in apartment appeared to be stolen merchandise: Arrested/TERRORISTIC THREATS

Hey Kansas, could you try harder to keep your guns from being stolen? They’re ending up in the hands of curfew breaking Minneapolis teens:

3800 blk Fremont Av N: Around 1:30 am officers responded to Burglary of Business in progress call; officers observed teens in area matching caller’s description; stopped juveniles, loaded 380 cal semi automatic pistol with bullet in chamber: Arrested/ WEAPON/CURFEW (14-16-, year-old teens, all with criminal histories; weapon reported stolen in Kansas)

A graffiti bust in Longfellow:

35th/Dight Av S:Officers on patrol spotted 2 teens spraying graffiti on railroad cars, when teens saw officers, they fled on foot; officers caught, apprehended youth who had paint on their hands, canvas bag full of spray paint cans: Arrested/DAMAGE to PROPERTY/GRAFFITI
