This is the house to buy. Seriously. If you’ve ever biked the Midtown Greenway through Uptown, you’ve surely gawked at this property as you crossed Irving Avenue South. It’s the one with the incredible landscaped yard.

It’s currently listed for $1,295,000 with $16,000+ taxes, but what do you expect for a house that nice that’s so close to the lakes with 4415 sq ft?

Someone who reads The Deets should buy this, pronto, so I can stop by and visit while passing through on my biking work commute in the summer.

    I’m actually surprised it’s not more expensive. I wonder if it would be big enough for a bunch of us to go in on as some sort of blogger commune.

    The guys that own that house like to stand in the middle of the Greenway (which is quite narrow there) and water their lawn by hand with the garden hose, wearing supa-short cutoff jeans and tight tank tops. Or set up their fancy elevated sprinkler-on-a-stand things on the bike path.

    I did always wonder what it looked like inside.
