[ # ] Top-10 Search Terms on Yahoo!
December 5th, 2007 under -cat

I’m pretty darn certain that I didn’t search for any of these terms in 2007.

But somebody did. In fact, a lot of bodies did:

Oops! Yahoo dumps Britney

  1. Britney Spears
  2. WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment)
  3. Paris Hilton
  4. Naruto
  5. Beyonce
  6. Lindsay Lohan
  7. Rune Scape
  8. Fantasy Football
  9. Fergie
  10. Jessica Alba

That’s six female celebrities, a theatrical wrestling company, fantasy sports, a medieval-themed online game and a Japanese anime comic series that I had look up on a search engine.

    I confess, I’m guilty of #4.

I’m oh-for too…I guess I can no longer describe myself as a typical search engine user…sniff, sniff…or does that mean that we are just not in the online version of lowest common denominators? All this marketing stuff just baffles me, ya know.

Oh, I meant to add, my #1 search term for Yahoo is ‘google’. Note: If you don’t believe me, ask NSA for my Yahoo file.

If you have to ask why…then you don’t know me. ;-)

Does this mean that women don’t use Yahoo?
