Congratulations to Brett Favre on becoming the winningest quarterback in NFL history.
Having spent a few years in Green Bay, I am occasionally asked about how crazy the fans are there and how much they like much they like Favre.
I’d say the closest thing I’ve seen to it in the Minnesota would have been Kirby in his prime, or possibly KG. But imagine if you only had one professional sports team and no college football to follow locally and you can probably see how much more focused a town like Green Bay becomes on their only team’s stars.
