This is exactly how I feel about the Gopher Bar in Saint Paul. When I lived downtown, a group of friends and I decided to check it out as we haven’t been there before. When we walked in everyone stared at us, the lighting was horrible and the tables and chairs reminded me of a church basement. No big deal; we were new. But then we saw the huge confederate flag. “Fuck this,” and we all immediately turned around and left. Haven’t been back since.
