There is a hearing next week regarding the liquor license for the Popeye’s property at E Lake St & 36th:

Date: Tuesday, March 13, 2007
Time: 6:00 p.m.

Place: Longfellow Park, 3435 South 36th Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55406

Purpose: To present and solicit information on the following license application:

Applicant’s Name: Merlins Rest LLC

Trade Name: Merlins Rest

Address and Location: 3601 East Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN

Phone: (651) 271-0202

Current License: On Sale Liquor, Class E with Sunday Sales

Requested License: On Sale Liquor, Class C-2 with Sunday Sales and stay open until 2:00am in conjunction with a Sidewalk Cafe

Nature of Entertainment: The Class C-2 License permits non-amplified music by three or fewer musicians; customer singing; ethnic dance in full costume; radio, television; juke box or taped music.

Off Street Parking: This application satisfies the parking requirements. Parking is provided across the street.
