They push the AMEX angle so hard on the site, it makes me wonder whether you HAVE to use AMEX to participate in this deal.

There are some great restaurants participating, including many I haven’t had a chance to check out before.

Anyone up for checking our some of these? With your AMEX?

It’s too bad MSP Magazine or the Star Tribune doesn’t allow comments on articles like this.  Wouldn’t that be an easy way to clarify things?

    I don’t have an AMEX but I’d go — I’m all about getting fatter! :)

    I told Kim that she should check out some of these places with her co-workers. While I can’t say that the $30 flat fees for dinner are all that great, $10 for lunch sounds awesome.

    It was great when La Belle Vie was here in Stillwater; it is easily one of the best restaurants around. I have a feeling Sarah and I might be heading to Minneapolis to check them out at their new location.

    Funny how the photo on the linked page is of the inside of the Town Talk Diner, but they’re not participating in AMEX Week.
