Hooters is having a hard time getting a liquor license for a new location in Troy, MI, so they opened the location without one and said they won’t close the new one until the city approves a liquor license for the new one:

Troy, a high-income city of just 80,000 people and home to the state’s only Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue department stores, now has another distinction. It is the only non-resort city of its size to have two Hooters.

Here’s a tip to the residents of Troy, MI: If you don’t want a Hooters, just stop going there. And for the sake of people that DO go there, please let them have a beer to go with their wings. People shouldn’t have to endure the place alcohol free.
