Touchless Trashcan
iTouchless has an infrared trashcan that automatically flips open when your hand comes with 6″ of the lid. It runs on 4 D-cell batteries that last around a year under normal use. They have not added the much requested husband sensing”Time to Take out the Trash” feature.

It takes for D batteries, so I had to make a trip to Target to get the thing running.
