Was the ice thick enough a week ago at William O’Brien State Park to support a grown man? Brian Shekleton decided to find out. If you look closely, you can see Brian under the ice. j/k The ice held, but it was so clear and thin, we had our doubts.

Kenneth snapped this shot on the prairie near the end of our hike. The picture doesn’t capture the wind so should have someone blow in your ears while viewing it to get the full sensory effect.
